Movement Workshops with Deborah Wallace

The second Sunday of each month, join ODU lecturer, Emmy-nominated Producer, Writer, Director, and Performer, Deborah Wallace for Viewpoints, an experimental movement practice that provides actors and dancers with a framework for creating ensemble work for the stage. Through the shared vocabulary of Viewpoints, we investigate and analyze performance by examining ourselves and the ensemble in time and space.

Composition is “writing on your feet”; the practice of selecting and arranging the separate components of theatrical language into a cohesive work of art for the stage.

Art Inspired Yoga

Each video has a specific theme derived from noteworthy artworks in varied locations in our galleries. These pre-recorded yoga lessons are instructed by Rise & Shine Yoga with Leah Villanueva Viray.
