Public Guided Tours

Join us weekly on Saturdays for a guided tour at the museum. Explore the rotating menu of tour themes, each of which takes a focused look at 12 works. FREE!

Private Guided Group Tours

We offer donation-supported tours to groups of at least 6 and up to 20 at a time. These tours are complimentary; however, we do highly encourage making a donation to the museum on behalf of the group. This support allows us to provide engaging programming to all museum-goers. To inquire, email sspeters@odu.edu

Multimedia Tour via Zoom

We invite your group of 6 or more to join us on Zoom for a guided, 45-minute tour with the Museum’s Artist Educators. From the comfort of your screen, you can enjoy an up-close-and-personal view of the collection with our NEW multimedia tours.

This tour is especially appropriate for school groups & recreation groups, but could also be a great option for something to do during virtual gatherings! Donations encouraged, pay-what-you-can. To inquire, email sspeters@odu.edu

We currently offer:

  • Museum Highlights
  • Black Artists and Subjects
  • Early Art Appreciation: Animals in the Museum (for young guests)
