WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT OUR MOON Free Monthly Lecture Seriesvirtual– Hans-Peter Plag & Peter Eudenbach What would Earth be like if there was no moon? What would be different in Earth’s physics, chemistry and biology without our Moon? Most importantly, would our lives be different on Earth without the Moon? What is it we would not have in History, Science, Art, Culture if the Moon would not exist and revolve around Earth? Join us for an illustrated lecture that ponders these what-ifs and more with Hans-Peter Plag Professor, Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Director, Mitigation and Adaptation Research Institute (MARI) & Peter Eudenbach, ODU Arts Chair. Brought to you in partnership with the ODU Office of Community Engagement, the Office of Distance Learning, and Remote Experience for Young Engineers and Scientists (REYES).
