Brendan Baylor is an interdisciplinary artist whose artwork explores the political ecology of landscape. By presenting the often-unexamined history of a place, he works to understand what cultural norms and systems produce the current landscape. His goal is to find balance in the documentary and emotional potentials of art.
Dr. Peter Wyse Jackson is one of the world’s foremost and best-known botanists and plant conservationists. Wyse Jackson plays an influential role in reshaping and leading the international botanic community. He has helped to establish or develop botanic gardens and other organizations in over 30 countries. Wyse Jackson’s tireless work in the botanist community can be shown in his publications that include twelve books and over scientific papers.
