Modernist abstract painting and sci-fi illustration seem worlds apart, but their shared thirst for transcendence and wonder has roots in painting of centuries past. These threads mix in more recent art that throws categories to the wind.

Join ODU dancers on the surface of Mars! Watch as they traverse the rocky Martian terrain, shifting the ground beneath them. After the performance, step foot on the surface yourself for a tactile experience.
